ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Aradhana School of Dancing is a Bharatanāṭyam school based in London, founded by Mrs. Sujanthinee Mageswaran in March 2011. We welcome students from the age of five, with the goal of guiding them to great heights in Bharatanāṭyam — whether as performers or future teachers.

Since becoming public, we have had the honour of participating in numerous cultural events, from the London Olympics Torch Relay (Newham & Stratford) in 2012 to our School’s Annual Showcases. Our students have proudly competed in Salangai Vinodham, a Bharatanāṭyam competition hosted by the Hindu Cultural Division of Enfield Nagapooshani Ambaal Temple, in the years 2012 to 2014.

In 2019, we were privileged to perform in the Opening Ceremony of the Goshin Isshinryu Karate World Championships. That same year, during Aradhana 2019 (our 8th Annual Showcase), our students presented the Nāṭya Nāṭakam (Dance Drama) "Iraivi Maindan".

More recently, our students participated in ISTD Misrana 2024. In 2025, they went on to win numerous awards, placing in the top 3 across multiple categories at the Croydon Performing Arts Festival.

As a school, we are committed to building our students’ confidence. We encourage frequent performance opportunities, from local charity shows to temple festivals, helping students grow both as dancers and individuals.
